Climate Resilience
and Adaption in
Aquaculture

About CLIRAQUA

CLIRAQUA aims to enhance the resilience and sustainability of Atlantic aquaculture in the context of climate change.

The project assesses the vulnerability of aquaculture species and environments to changes in temperature, salinity and water quality, and promotes climate adaptation and risk prevention through innovative, ecosystem-based approaches.

By combining digital tools such as climate data lakes, interactive vulnerability maps and early warning systems with transnational cooperation and stakeholder participation, CLIRAQUA supports sustainable, inclusive and climate-resilient aquaculture in the Atlantic Area.
